He Lives                             Introduction
By Judy Sims

Introduction

This book has been a long time coming. About 50 years, as a matter of fact. I write this book, in loving memory of my mother, Orene LaVerne Pace Sims, who I know did love me and had such a hard time showing it. May the Lord keep her in peace until I come home. My mother, was the only living witness, to every event, in this book, up to the time of her death. Others know bits and pieces, but not the whole story.

My thanks to my newly found friend, who has helped immensely, in critiquing this writing. I met her on the internet, through a group of writers. My gratitude, to you, Lela Marie De La Garza.

To all those, who have crossed my path, in this life, whether good or bad I give thanks for your addition to this journey.

Note from the author

Each of us searches for our beginnings or the reasons for life. For those of us who have discovered the Lord Jesus, we have our answer to that question. God created us.

In our search for our spiritual selves, we stir up as many questions as answers. Though we know it is God who began all things and we know in our hearts God loves us, we lose sight of Him through the course of life. Sometimes, especially in times of hardship, we wonder if God really cares or even really knows us. We begin to doubt such a personal relationship exists.

Then there are those who visualize a Christian as somebody who never feels pain, has no bad habits, has their heads in the clouds and in a constant state of holy righteousness. This book should break through that glass dome.

It is my hope that this story will lift you up and give you insight and hope. To simply know that God is not a God of only perfect people but rather a real God who knows His own creations inside and out. How could we possibly have a thought that our Creator doesn't already know about?

The events in this book, written from the heart, are true. I hope that you will see your own reflection and come to realize our God is a personal God. Truly, He is your Father and has more input into your daily life, than you can imagine. I have seen it. I have learned, the hard way, what it is to follow Him.

A warning for the faint hearted. You will read some foul things you might not want to know exists in this world and there is reference to a couple bad words. If you want to know about a life all gone wrong yet held in God's hands all along, read on. This book is not for innocent eyes. Please protect your young ones from the filth of this world as long as you can.
